About Dr Ahmed Alharthi

Welcome to my personal space. I am Dr. Ahmed Alharthi, an Assistant Professor of Software Engineering at Umm Al-Qura University. My academic journey is driven by a deep interest in the intersection of cutting-edge technology and its societal impact, particularly in the fields of software sustainability and innovative e-learning solutions.

My research concentrates on developing software systems that are not only efficient and robust but also environmentally and economically sustainable, as well as socially and individually adaptable for long-term use. Simultaneously, I am dedicated to advancing educational technology, especially by creating dynamic and effective online learning environments that empower students with self-regulation skills.

In addition to my research, I have a strong passion for teaching and mentoring, and I am committed to shaping the next generation of software professionals.
