Graduation Project: Al-Burhan – Quran Memorization Review Assistant

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Abstract:

Memorising the Qur’an is a noble act in Islam, but one of the significant challenges facing many memorisers is forgetting verses over time due to irregular revision. As emphasised by the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), the Qur’an can easily slip away from one’s memory if not reviewed constantly.

The Al-Burhan application was developed as a practical solution to this problem. It offers a digital platform that helps individuals review their memorised Qur’an by connecting them with listeners anytime and anywhere, without the need for a physical teacher or a mosque visit.

Key Features:

  • Allows users to request or offer Qur’an listening sessions.
  • Operates without time or location constraints.
  • Encourages consistency in revision and strengthens retention.
  • Promotes community collaboration in Qur’an memorisation.

This application is beneficial for individuals with busy schedules who may struggle to find traditional support for their memorisation journey. Al-Burhan makes it easier for memorisers to maintain their connection with the Qur’an consistently and meaningfully.
