Abstract:

The “ATO” application is a digital donation platform designed to offer a user-friendly, shopping-style experience that promotes social responsibility and supports sustainable development goals. It allows users to donate pre-owned or surplus items—such as clothing, electronics, and furniture—to individuals in need through a streamlined and intuitive interface. The application addresses several pressing issues, including overconsumption, environmental pollution, and social inequality.

ATO enhances charitable giving by streamlining the donation process through a mobile platform that allows users to:

  • Register and log in easily
  • Upload information and photos of items they wish to donate
  • Choose or be matched with appropriate beneficiaries
  • Track donation history and status

The application contributes to:

  • Helping individuals in need by delivering essential items
  • Reducing environmental waste by reusing goods
  • Promoting feelings of social responsibility, altruism, and community cohesion
  • Freeing up space in donors’ homes by repurposing unused items

Key Features:

  • Categorization of donation types (e.g., clothing, electronics, furniture)
  • Integration with a delivery/logistics system to facilitate item transfer
  • Notifications and donation tracking
  • Admin panel to monitor user activities and ensure appropriate usage

Expected Impact: ATO is expected to foster a culture of giving and reduce the environmental and social burdens of unused possessions. It promotes equity, sustainability, and active community engagement through a practical, tech-based solution.
